About the Artist

My name is Jayne Covington and I love to capture the character and personality of pets through pastels creating stunning portraits that bring your pets to life on paper. I am inspired by the gorgeous animals I have had the privilege to draw.

I have always loved drawing from as long as I can remember and graduated with a degree in Animation from Norwich University of the Arts and a Postgraduate in Animation from Central Saint Martins (UAL), London.

All portraits are hand drawn from photographs and I only use the highest quality art materials.

I am based in the wonderful Wiltshire countryside, UK.

Craft Fairs & Handmade Markets

I regularly attend local craft fairs and artisan markets, where I showcase a curated selection of my artwork in a variety of formats. These events give me the chance to meet people face-to-face, share the stories behind my pieces, and connect with a community that values creativity and handmade work.

At my stall, you’ll find high-quality art prints alongside a range of functional items featuring my designs—coasters, tote bags, and tea towels. Each product is created with care, designed to bring a touch of colour, character, and artistry into everyday life.

Whether you’re browsing for unique home décor, a thoughtful gift, or simply looking for something special to brighten your day, my craft-fair stall offers a little something for everyone. I love being part of these vibrant events and am always excited to meet new people and share my work in person.

My portraits are all hand drawn on Pastelmat from photographs using the highest quality pastels with excellent lightfast ratings to ensure your painting lasts a lifetime.
